Firearm Selection Course:
Created to help people that are new to the shooting sport select the correct size and type of firearm. Firing several sizes and types of handguns is the only way to find out which firearm is the correct one for you. Don’t go out and blindly purchase a firearm on someone’s recommendation. The right firearm in someone’s opinion may be totally wrong for you.
COURSE # 1 FIREARM SELECTION TRAINING INCLUDES:
1. One hour of instructed range time.
2. Range rules and safety briefing.
3. Various sizes and types of firearms.
4. Ammunition for all firearms.
5. Hearing and eye protection.
6. Targets and target backers.
7. Loading and unloading procedures.
8. Shooting positions.
Price: $ 115.00 single student / $ 195.00 per pair ( pair reservations must be made together or they will be treated as two single students ) Maximum 2 students per session. Additional time negotiable if available.
COURSE #2 TARGET TRAINING INCLUDES:
1. One hour instructed range time.
2. Range rules and safety briefing.
3. Targets and target backers.
4. Shoot your personal firearm with your ammunition.
5. Shoot our firearm with our ammunition ( one firearm per session ) add $ 35.00 per person .Includes ear and eye protection.
6. Loading and unloading procedures.
7. Sight adjustment if needed and possible.
8. Shooting positions.
Price: $ 85.00 single student / $ 150.00 per pair ( pair reservations must be made together or they will be treated as two single students ) Maximum 2 students per session. Additional time negotiable if available.
Student must be proficient with a firearm or take class #1 to use our firearm in class #2.
Course #3 FIRST STEPS PISTOL (N.R.A. CLASS) INCLUDES:
This NRA course is designed to aid the beginning pistol shooter with the knowledge , skill and attitude necessary to own and use a specific ( revolver or semi-automatic ) pistol model safely. This course will also qualify students for the Florida Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Please allow 1 hour travel time to the range in your schedule ( Total 4 Hours ). Non NRA members welcome.
1. N.R.A. Classroom materials and Certificate.
2. 2 Hour Classroom and 1 Hour Range training. ( Includes range time ).
3. It is highly recommended that students supply their own firearm, owners manual, ammunition, eye and ear protection.
4. Our firearms and ammunition are available for an extra charge of $ 25.00 per firearm. ( ear and eye protection included ).
5. Targets and Backers.
Price: $ 120.00 per student ( Minimum 2 - Maximum 4 students per class )
Students are required to supply: one 1" - 3 ring binder, a pen and pencil, a firearm ( revolver or semi-automatic ) depending on class type. If you do not have a firearm we can supply one as stated above. 50 rounds of ammunition ( preferably full metal jacket or wad cutter. Hollow points are ok. No exotics ). A photo Id. Your N.R.A. card if available. No live ammunition is allowed in the classroom at any time.
